Job Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide expert medical consultation and testimony services as an independent contractor. This unique opportunity allows you to expand your professional expertise into the fascinating world of forensic medicine and legal consultation.

The ideal candidate possesses strong critical thinking skills and can think outside the box when analyzing how injuries occur. You'll need to consider how underlying medical conditions may affect injury patterns and outcomes, and be able to explain complex traumatic injuries in clear, understandable terms that help juries grasp the injury mechanism and how it relates to the specific elements of each case.

In this role, you will review medical records, provide expert opinions, conduct independent medical examinations, and testify in legal proceedings related to orthopedic injuries and conditions. You'll work with both prosecution and defense attorneys, ensuring objective medical analysis that serves the pursuit of justice.

Ignite HR Solutions is an outsourced human resources consulting firm dedicated to helping small and early-stage companies build strong company cultures through best-in-class employment practices. Founded in 2016 by Kira Feick, the company was born from a desire for workday flexibility while continuing to be challenged professionally - a goal many working parents can relate to when balancing career ambitions with family commitments like getting kids to soccer practice.

As a full-service HR consulting firm, Ignite HR Solutions supports the complete employee life-cycle, from recruiting and onboarding to training, payroll, benefits administration, discipline, performance management, and offboarding. The company takes a people-first approach, believing that human resources is more than forms and paperwork - that with the proper foundation, the possibilities are endless for growing businesses.

What sets Ignite HR Solutions apart is their commitment to personalized service. Unlike larger competitors who assign consultants 80+ clients, their consultants work with only 5-7 clients maximum, enabling a proactive and engaged approach rather than being merely reactive and transactional. Clients are never routed through a call center, ensuring dedicated, responsive support. The company serves clients across diverse industries including CPG, Retail, Non-profit, Technology, Agriculture, and Construction. With over 100 years of combined HR experience on their team, they help companies become employers of choice and build incredible company cultures of their own.
