The story of Idealist Consulting is one born from a desire to bridge the gap between the private sector's technological prowess and the nonprofit world's critical missions. It all began when founder Rob Jordan, after serving in the Peace Corps in Ukraine, returned with a profound realization. He had witnessed firsthand the immense need for the strategic application of business acumen and technology within organizations dedicated to social good. This experience ignited a lifelong commitment to ethical business and became the catalyst for founding Idealist Consulting in 2006. From its inception, the firm has been dedicated to empowering nonprofits and progressive businesses to amplify their impact through the thoughtful implementation of technology.

What started as a pioneering endeavor to bring Salesforce integration to the nonprofit sector has since blossomed into a comprehensive consultancy. Over the years, Idealist Consulting has grown into a trusted partner for hundreds of organizations globally, guiding them through the complexities of digital transformation. Their journey has been marked by a steadfast commitment to their core values, becoming a certified B Corporation in 2008, a testament to their dedication to social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. The 'Idealist Way,' their signature service delivery model, encapsulates their approach: to educate, empower, and guide clients through every stage of their technological evolution. This narrative of purpose-driven growth continues today, as they help organizations leverage powerful tools like Salesforce, marketing automation, and custom application development to streamline operations, enhance fundraising efforts, and ultimately, better serve their communities and the world's most important causes.
