Junior Software Developer

Work Schedule

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST, including 1-hour break

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer with 1–2 years of experience in React.js, TypeScript, and Python. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to develop, maintain, and enhance web applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently in a remote environment, and experience building real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and TypeScript

• Build and integrate backend services using Python

• Collaborate directly with the CEO on product development and feature implementation
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality
• Debug, test, and optimize applications
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to product improvements
• Maintain technical documentation as required

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software development
• Proficiency in: React.js, TypeScript, Python
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Ability to work full-time during 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django

• Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, AI APIs)

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms or deployment workflows
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
