What will you do?
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join one of our product teams. The team is currently composed of 3 Engineers, 1 Design Lead, 1 Data Scientist, and 1 Product Manager. Together, you will:
- Develop from ideation to launch new features and products to help our largest clients achieve their goals.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Product Designers and Data Analysts in an autonomous team to effectively implement new features and enhancements.
- Participate in experiments and quick prototypes to drive user adoption as well as delivering high quality features used by our key customers.
- Attend and lead code reviews and technical discussions to maintain quality and consistency in our projects.
- Propose improvements to Hubtype’s engineering processes and tools in order to optimize the whole team’s productivity.
- Maintain your knowledge up-to-date, always staying on top of best practices and technology trends.
Our tech environment
Cloud Infrastructure: AWS is our primary infrastructure provider, complemented by Azure for specific services. We manage our infrastructure using Terraform.
Backend Development: Our backend is predominantly Django in Python, prioritizing reliability and scalability.
Frontend Development: We use React and Angular for frontend development, ensuring dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
Open-Source Framework: We've developed a React-based open-source framework to build bots logic.
Requirements
What do you need?
- Demonstrable experience in developing web applications using Angular (v2+), Typescript and related front-end technologies (HTML/CSS).
- Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining Design Systems and collaborating with Product Designers.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively in remote teams.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience working with AWS or similar infrastructure technologies.
- Experience in React and creating e2e tests.
- Experience with Storybook.
