We're an employee-owned design firm specializing in engineering, architecture, environmental and construction services. Since our founding in 1917, we have grown from a small civil engineering firm in Omaha, Nebraska, into a global practice with more than 12,000 employees in over 200 locations worldwide. We believe that the way we work can add meaning and value to the world, and that ideas inspire positive change. Our multidisciplinary teams include scientists, economists, builders, analysts, and artists who work together to create an unshakable foundation for progress.

We are most well-known for adding beauty and structure to communities through high-performance buildings and smart infrastructure, but we provide much more than that. We create solutions that push open the doors to what's possible each and every day. As an employee-owned company, we are invested in each other's success and the success of our clients. We think global and act local, bringing together the right people for each individual client and engagement. We listen first to understand the root and complexity of the problem, and we hold ourselves accountable to find the best solutions. We strive to do things better and stretch further, from our internal processes to the work we deliver.
