Business Intelligence Analysts at GuidePoint Security will work on the cutting edge of Information Technology and Information Security. Qualified candidates should have multiple years of hands on experience with leading Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools.

A successful team member will have a strong curiosity and demonstrable capabilities in the creation of logical, repeatable, impactful analytic solutions using data quality metrics to guide and evaluate the work, supported by clear documentation of implementation processes and solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements definition, and effectively communicate changes at a functional level
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the GuidePoint user base and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate
  • Complete day-to-day activities needed for the proper maintenance of the Domo environment, including governance oversight and consistent enforcement of data integrity via best practices with each task
  • Evaluate existing processes, work flows and reporting requirements to determine the most effective and efficient solution
  • Adhere to standards and IT best practices, including but not limited to system, design, operational, installation, security and configuration
  • Stay current with the latest Domo functionality
  • Execute Domo release deployments and promote data quality with cross functional data approvals.
  • Be flexible to change within the organization and adopt a spirit of continuous improvement and clear communication
  • Communicate progress, challenges and issues to management in an effective, consistent and timely manner
  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaborate with a larger team of subject matter experts
  • Be willing to work in an environment that promotes new ideas, “thinks outside the box” and strives for excellence and enjoyment in providing all aspects of application solutions to the business
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Experience working with business stakeholders translating requests into business requirements
  • Ability to read, modify, and understand the impact of existing Domo SQL queries and automated dataflows
  • Unwavering focus on overall Domo system administration and the maintenance of a clean development environment and user experience
  • Proficiency with the creation and updates of Domo dashboards, cards, trusted attributes, reports and alerts
  • Familiarity with the configuration of source-syst3em API connectors
  • Experience implementing data permission structures
  • Proven track record in leading initiatives
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA

Educational & Professional Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of ETL development experience utilizing tools
  • Domo experience is a plus
  • Certifications or Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce and OpenAir applications are a plus

Travel & Office Location

  • Approximately 10% out-of-town travel to regional offices and/or data centers
  • Work remotely or at the regional office when not traveling
