Responsibilites:
- Build robust pipelines for software engineering, data science, machine learning, and optimization teams
- Develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche technical positions
- Craft compelling outreach messages and conduct initial candidate screening conversations
- Collaborate with hiring managers and engineering leadership on role requirements and candidate profiles
- Build scalable sourcing strategies and tools to support a high-growth environment
- Track sourcing metrics and continuously optimize for quality and speed
- Proactively source and engage passive technical candidates across LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and industry networks
Requirements:
- Prior startup experience - understanding of the fast-paced, resource-constrained environment and ability to wear multiple hats
- Prior experience sourcing for machine learning, AI research, and other top PhD-level technical roles (preferred)
- Experience sourcing for early-stage to growth-stage companies
- Strong understanding of engineering principles with ability to communicate technical requirements effectively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
- Strong familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms
- Experience using an ATS (we use Lever) and keeping pipelines organized
- Experience with diversity sourcing initiatives and building inclusive talent pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent practical experience
