Sr. Fullstack Engineer (Agentic workflows)

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will leverage agentic development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to automate portions of the software development lifecycle, enabling a stronger focus on architecture, scalability, and complex problem-solving.

You will play a key role in pioneering how AI-driven workflows improve the speed, reliability, and scalability of our

Merchant Portal.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Design and evolve the core platform to support hundreds of thousands of global merchants
• Define and execute technical strategies for complex, large-scale, and ambiguous problems
• Ensure architectural decisions optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability

Agentic Workflows & SDLC Optimization

• Lead adoption of agentic development tools (e.g., Claude Code)
• Automate engineering tasks such as:
• Boilerplate generation
• Refactoring
• Automated testing
• System migrations
• Drive improvements in development velocity and engineering efficiency

Collaboration & Cross-Team Alignment

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Security, Analytics, Business)
• Align scope and execution across teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives
• Collaborate with engineers across the organization to solve shared challenges

Mentorship & Team Development

• Mentor engineers and support their technical growth and career development
• Promote best practices in engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Strategic Execution

• Work closely with Engineering Managers and Team Leads to define and execute the long-term vision
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and organizational maturity

Required Experience

• 4+ years of experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design trade-offs
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable backend systems

Technical Skills

• Backend: AWS, gRPC, Kotlin, Python, MySQL, Snowflake, Kubernetes
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, ES6 (modern declarative frameworks)
• Observability: Sentry, Rollbar, Chronosphere, Kibana

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with asynchronous communication, including:
• Technical specifications
• Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
• Project plans

Soft Skills

• Strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
• Passion for solving complex problems in multi-team environments
