We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, ensuring top-notch security and efficiency in processes. Collaborate with clients, guiding in the design and execution of Kubernetes or Docker solutions. Take a leading role in constructing CI/CD pipelines, driving the efficient delivery of software updates. Responsible for championing the GitOps principles for software delivery.
What we are looking for:
- 6-8 years of hands-on relevant experience
- 5-6 years' experience with Kubernetes or docker
- AI/ML model development experience
- Experience with cloud systems and architectures (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure)
- Ability to master new technologies and gain an expert-level understanding of the latest approaches (auto-scaled cloud-based systems, serverless architectures, cloud/on-premises hybrid solutions)
- Expert-level knowledge with packaging and securing applications as containers and working in Kubernetes
- Experience with AKS, EKS, Rancher, OCP, K3D, or K3S
- Subject-matter expert in DevSecOps methodologies
- Skillset capable of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications
- Experience developing software with Java, Spring Framework, JBoss, Python, JavaScript, node.js, and/or Angular
- Familiar with microservice architectures (REST, JMS, AMQP)
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc.)
- Ability to work on high performing teams supporting multiple projects and personnel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Highly preferred:
- Experience with Isito is a plus
- Proficiency in writing custom Helm Charts
- Experience with Big Data platforms like Kafka or Hadoop
- Advanced programming skills in multiple languages
- Certifications such as CKA or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
Clearance Requirements:
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Work Type:
- Remote
- May require up to 10% travel
Salary Range:
- $110,000 - $180,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
