On GFiber's Financial Operations team, you’ll build a high-performing team and efficient processes from the ground up, and be a key contributor to the company's financial success.
Role Description
As our Financial Operations Lead specializing in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), you’ll oversee all aspects of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, from supplier onboarding, to requisition and payment. You’ll have the opportunity to build GFiber’s first P2P team, leading to the establishment and implementation of best-in-class processes that ensure smooth and efficient experiences for suppliers and internal customers. You, and your team, will foster strong relationships by balancing multiple priorities and deadlines with internal stakeholders (e.g., requisitioners, accounts payable) and external suppliers and use data to generate reports that identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
In this role, you'll:
- Build-out the P2P financial operations team, providing coaching and development opportunities while also overseeing the execution of day-to-day operations and systems related to Accounts Payables Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication throughout the P2P lifecycle.
- Design, document, and implement efficient and effective P2P processes, including supplier onboarding, requisitions, purchasing, receiving, invoice processing, and payments.
- Develop and implement P2P policies and procedures, mitigating risk and ensuring adherence to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., requisitioners, accounts payable) and external suppliers.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings, leveraging P2P data for trends or optimization opportunities.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay operations.
- Proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction initiatives (e.g., early payment programs, procurement cards, supplier onboarding, etc) from inception to implementation.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and Business Spend Management (BSM) systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba).
- Experience collaborating and managing teams across different geographical locations including technical partners.
It's preferred if you have:
- Experience in building and leading a financial operations team.
- Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Experience working with outsourced service providers.
- Experience using written and verbal communication to resolve complex problems and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $149,000 - $218,000 + bonus + cash awards + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
