Goods Services is looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer who designs and develops cloud-based software products and platforms, promotes Agile principles, fosters continuous improvement, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives vision-to-implementation with hands-on technical expertise and exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver robust quality software (code reviewed, unit tested, detail design documents, well commented) to the planned schedule.
• Work independently to specify, plan, design, develop, test and support software components as assigned.
• Participate in decisions on scope of work, duration of tasks, and determination of requirements.
• Responsible for implementation or modification of software component designs or enhancements to new and existing software products; assists in the implementation of more complex subsystems and systems.
• Summarize and presents details of designs, analytical methods and results; and leads and/or participates on multi-functional product research and development teams.
• Develop and recommends methods, tools and designs for software development process improvement.
• Work with team leadership to establish necessary test specification and requirements for software product validation of designs.
• Follow all company’s software coding standards and processes.
• Participate in Scrum Agile process including sprint planning and sprint review.
• Identify key barriers/core problems and apply problem-solving skills to deal creatively with complex situations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, and make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships.
• Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies.
• Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor of Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in systems and/or software development involving interoperability of connected devices.
• Experience in using Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure environment/services, including AKS, ACR (Container/Microservices), Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Application Gateway (Traefik, nginx).
• Experience with Python 3+.
• Familiar with type hints and style guide.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with Cryptography.
• Experience with PyJWT.
• Experience with Pytest.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with Material UI.
• Experience with Ubuntu, Azure DevOps, Git.
• Good understanding of Authentication\Authorization and OAuth 2.0\Open ID Connect standards.
• Experience with CI\CD technologies such as Azure DevOps.
• Experience with REST API’s technologies such as FastAPI.
• Experience with network protocols, integration testing, and cybersecurity.
• Experience with testing techniques for cloud solutions.
• Good understanding of the TLS\HTTPS REST\SOAP protocols.
• Experience with Selenium UI testing framework.
• Solid written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Nice to have:

• MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with React.
