At G-P, we assist organizations in building exceptional global teams in days, not months—streamlining the hiring, onboarding, and management process to unlock growth potential for all.

Our Platform UX team is looking for a talented and motivated UX Design Intern to join us for a 3-month internship. You'll play a key role in evolving our core application experience and contributing to our foundational Design System.

About the Position:

This internship is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of product design and design operations. You will support the Platform UX team, focusing on enhancing the usability and consistency of our core B2B SaaS platform. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to contributing to our internal Design System, ensuring our UI components and patterns are well-documented, accessible, and ready for use by product teams across the company.

What You'll Do

  • Design System Contribution: Work closely with the Design System lead to audit, document, and refine existing UI components. Help ensure component parity between design files (Figma) and developer documentation.
  • Platform UX Support: Assist senior designers with day-to-day UX tasks for the core platform, including creating low-to-high fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes for features.
  • User Research Testing: Support user research efforts by helping to prepare materials, observe user interviews or usability tests, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable design insights.
  • Design QA: Participate in design quality assurance, reviewing launched features against design specifications and identifying areas for improvement and refinement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Attend product and engineering meetings to understand technical constraints and feasibility, and present your work to fellow designers and product managers for feedback.

What You'll Learn

By the end of this 3-month internship, you won't just have portfolio pieces; you'll have a deep understanding of enterprise-level design:

  • You'll gain practical, hands-on experience with a mature Design System, learning how components are architected, documented, and governed to ensure consistency across a complex SaaS platform.
  • You'll learn to solve complex, real-world user problems specific to B2B platforms, focusing on information architecture, data visualization, and task efficiency for professional users.
  • You'll learn how design operates within an agile technology company, collaborating directly with Product Managers, Front-End Engineers, and fellow Designers to bring features from concept to launch.
  • You'll significantly enhance your proficiency in Figma in a professional, component-driven environment, mastering best practices for file organization and prototyping.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, or a related field, or recently graduated (within the last 6 months).
  • A strong online portfolio or selection of case studies demonstrating a foundational understanding of visual design, UX principles, visual design, and the design thinking process.
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
  • A self-starter attitude, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior coursework or projects focused specifically on Design Systems or component libraries.
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices (WCAG).
  • Experience designing for a B2B or complex SaaS application.
  • Basic understanding of front-end web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).

We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest records, conviction records, or other criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of any applicable state and local laws, including the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012, the Private Security Services Act 2004, and the Criminal Justice (Spent Convictions and Certain Disclosures) Act 2016.

Globalization Partners, now known as G-P, embarked on its journey in 2012 with a revolutionary idea conceived by its founder, Nicole Sahin. Having witnessed firsthand the complexities companies faced when expanding globally – specifically, the need to establish legal entities in each new country – Sahin envisioned a simpler path. Her insight was to create a single, compliant entity in each country that multiple clients could share, thereby streamlining the process of hiring international talent. This foundational concept aimed to dismantle the traditional barriers to global business, making it feasible for companies to tap into a worldwide talent pool without the cumbersome and time-consuming process of setting up international subsidiaries. The early years saw steady growth, but soon the demand for G-P's innovative employer of record (EOR) platform began to surge, leading to rapid, year-over-year expansion.

This growth trajectory transformed G-P into a leading Global Employment Platform™, empowering businesses to hire, onboard, and manage teams in over 180 countries quickly and compliantly. The company's core mission crystallized: to make global hiring accessible, ethical, and efficient for businesses of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises. G-P's AI-driven, automated platform, backed by a global network of in-house HR and legal experts, became the cornerstone of its offering. This combination of technology and human expertise ensures that companies can navigate the intricate web of local labor laws, payroll, benefits, and tax compliance with confidence. Over the years, G-P has not only pioneered the EOR industry but has continued to innovate, introducing new products and features to meet the evolving needs of a globalized workforce. The company's commitment to customer satisfaction, consistently high ratings, and numerous industry accolades underscore its position as a trusted partner for companies looking to unlock global potential and build international teams with peace of mind.
