Global Partners Digital

Global Partners Digital is a social purpose company dedicated to ensuring that human rights underpin the development, use and governance of digital technologies. Through advocacy, partnerships, capacity building, networks, and research, the organization shapes rights-respecting laws and policies while helping build a more diverse digital policy ecosystem. Their work addresses critical issues including trust and security, platform and content governance, new and emerging technologies like AI and biometric systems, and the future of internet governance across global, regional and national forums.

The organization produces research, analysis and monitoring updates to help actors navigate the complex digital policy landscape. They conduct training and capacity building for civil society, companies, policymakers and diplomats to build technical and policy knowledge and advocacy skills. Through strategic partnerships and subgrants, they have supported more than 50 civil society organizations in over 30 Global South countries, promoting diverse and inclusive perspectives in policy processes. GPD fosters alliances and coordinates action across multistakeholder networks including the IGF's Policy Network on Internet Fragmentation, Global Network Initiative, and Global Encryption Coalition, while housing the Support Unit for the Freedom Online Coalition.
