Who are we looking for?

As a Front End Developer, you will work on a globally diverse, cross-functional, agile team that experiments often and iterates quickly to deliver experiences that our users will love. You will play an active role in identifying and resolving our standards in performance, usability and accessibility. You should have prior professional experience working with front end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.

We're looking for a Web3 Developer with experience writing and shipping high quality decentralized applications (dapps). You have a refined eye for rigorous, clean code, and beautiful UX. You are able to balance tradeoffs inherent in all design decisions. You take pride in being an engineer, not just a hacker. To succeed in this role you must:

• Have a good understanding of UI system design, Usability, and Accessibility.

• Be proficient in web performance standards and industry wide best practices.

• Have the ability to work in a team with Scrum Methodology.

• Be keen to deliver quality and optimal code.

• Be committed and have an organized personality.

• Be a fast learner and good communicator within the community and working groups.

Job requirements

Languages

• Fluent in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

• Professional in Sass, StyledComponent or similar frameworks

• Professional in React.js and basic concepts

• Familiar with WebSocket

• Familiar with authentication methods such as JWT

• Familiar with RESTful APIs and graphQL.

• Familiar with Git, GitHub.

• Familiar with npm, Webpack, Babel, etc.

You will assist other developers through pair programming and mentoring opportunities to grow the team’s vision. You have a desire to learn and apply new skills as part of your own personal growth and to help the growth of the team and the company.

Preferred Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional website coding experience

• Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering or IT.

• Prior Mentorship experience.

• Ability to review other’s code and give feedback.

• Deep understanding of React including React-hooks and recent experience working on a React project.

• Good understanding of blockchain concepts particularly Ethereum and DeFi

• Have previous web3 experience working with libraries like web3.js or ethers.js

• Proven experience with React frameworks such as Gatsby and Nextjs

• Familiar with server side rendering (SSR)

• Familiar with CI/CD concepts.
