Triage Specialist
Position Description:
The Triage Specialist supportsa federal agencyby receiving, reviewing, anddirectingincident reports to theappropriate pointof contact. The Triage Specialistworks as part of a small team of federal and contract staff to ensure inbox coverage 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays.
Position Duties:
Monitor a sharedincident responseinboxin collaboration with other team membersto ensuretimelyresponse and incident elevation.
Analyze each incoming incidentin accordance withfederal policiesto ensure incidents are documented correctly androutedto theappropriate pointof contact.
Provide technicalassistancein situations where incident reportsneed to becorrected and/orresubmittedin accordance withpolicy.
Create shift reports andcompleteother activities necessary to prepare team members to take over inbox coverage.
Catalog and fileincidentsin keeping with policies and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a tracking system for reported incidentsand perform quality assurance to ensure dataaccuracy.
Perform data analysis toidentifytrendsin incident reporting.
Provide reports on inbox activity on regular and as-neededbases.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a relevant fieldwith at least 4years of related experience.
Experience in case management, child welfare, or socialworkrequired.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to workindependently and to collaborate with team members in a remote environment.
ExperienceutilizingMicrosoft Excel and performing basic data analysis preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able and willingto work some weekends and holidays.
This position requires an existing Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
This position is 100% remote.

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $89,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
