Job Description Summary

The Sr Services Manager for Radiology & Cardiology Imaging Workflow Services provides leadership and subject‑matter expertise across the post‑sales customer lifecycle for enterprise imaging solutions. This role oversees a team of Clinical Workflow Specialists (CWS), Report Configuration Specialists (RCS), and Application Specialists who deliver workflow assessments, configuration, training, reporting builds, and go‑live support for radiology and cardiology departments.
The manager drives customer success, adoption, and outcomes through effective delivery of digital implementation services, ensuring quality, efficiency, and operational excellence. The role impacts approaches, programs, and ways of working within the functional area and has moderate autonomy, guided by professional practices and policies. Strong operational judgment and leadership skills are required.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Customer Delivery & Digital Implementation

  • Contribute to the implementation of enterprise imaging workflow solutions across radiology and cardiology departments.
  • Own workflow, configuration, and application deliverables throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects.
  • Participate in workflow architecture, design decisions, configuration planning, testing, and validation to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Partner with customers to understand clinical and operational needs; conduct workflow assessments and design strategies tailored to their environment.
  • Provide standardized recommendations on workflow, application setup, clinical reporting, measurement protocols, and image management.
  • Ensure readiness for go‑live, including training, validation, and clinical adoption planning; support post‑go‑live check-ins to drive customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of radiology and cardiology workflow experts, serving as a resource on best practices.
  • Provide guidance and direction in workflow optimization, clinical reporting, and imaging system configuration.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, development planning, and competency management.
  • Act as a mentor to less-experienced colleagues and support skill development across the team.

Operational Excellence & Quality

  • Ensure high-quality delivery across workflow assessments, application configuration, reporting builds, and training sessions.
  • Monitor team utilization, productivity, and adherence to quality management system (QMS) processes.
  • Apply technical and operational judgment to solve moderately complex issues and escalate risks appropriately.
  • Use internal data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement, including updated SOPs and standard work.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Product Management, Integration, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Support roadmap discussions by providing workflow insights and field feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot clinical workflow, reporting, and imaging configuration issues.

Influence & Communication

  • Explain complex or sensitive workflow and configuration concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Build consensus across clinical users, technical teams, and leadership groups.
  • Influence decision‑making by applying domain expertise and data-driven recommendations.
  • May lead small to medium-sized initiatives or projects with moderate risk and resource requirements.

Required Qualifications (USA Only)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and at least 4 years of experience in Services and/or Digital Implementation Services.
    OR
  • Associate's degree and at least 6 years of experience in Services and/or Digital Implementation Services.

  • Established project management skills.
  • Experience in radiology or cardiology imaging workflows, reporting, PACS/VNA, DICOM/non‑DICOM management, or clinical informatics preferred.
  • Experience mentoring or managing clinical or technical implementation specialists.
