We are seeking an Entry-Level Data and Integration Specialist/Marketing Technology (MarTech) Data Engineer to join our analytics team. This role will focus on ETL processes, database development, and technical support for our marketing analytics infrastructure. The successful candidate will help design, build, and maintain data pipelines and schemas in Google BigQuery, ensuring clean, reliable datasets that power our reporting and visualization team. This is a hands-on, technical role suited for someone eager to grow their skills in data engineering and marketing technology while contributing directly to client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of database schemas in Google BigQuery.
  • Support ETL workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and integration from multiple marketing and advertising platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
  • Partner with the reporting/UX team to ensure datasets are optimized for visualization and analysis.
  • Document processes, schema changes, and data flow to support scalability and maintainability.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices for data governance, quality assurance, and security.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with ETL workflows (extract, transform, load) and data modeling principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage details carefully while working with large datasets.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, frameworks, and marketing technology platforms.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Google BigQuery or other cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
  • Exposure to scripting or programming languages (Python, R, JavaScript, or similar).
  • Familiarity with marketing/advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, CRM tools).
  • Internship, project, or coursework involving data integration, pipelines, or database support.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Desire to build a career in marketing technology and data engineering.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $55,000and $85,000.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
