We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to lead our data analysis and quality review initiatives for the Next Inspect application. Will work cross-organizationally with leaders across product, research, and business within Fyusion and Cox Automotive. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes to report product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and extract key insights that can inform client conversations and product development.
The right person for the job will apply their exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our customers and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams, and business units
Here's the day to day:
- Collaborating closely with business, product, and engineering leaders, your role entails ensuring data accuracy and maintaining consistent reporting standards. This involves designing and implementing efficient processes and procedures to report on commercial engagement effectively. Additionally, you'll analyze data to uncover patterns and trends, identifying opportunities for improvement to optimize application performance and streamline the roll-out process.
- Gather data and analyze for insights into user behaviors and to enhance customer conversations. Enable client-facing teams with data insights that help build trust and credibility by demonstrating a deep understanding of the product and user experience.
- Analyze daily uploads to gain comprehensive expertise in how our clients utilize our product.
- Inform product performance and success by tracking metrics such as user engagement and conversion rates.
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
- Build, develop, and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
- Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in innovation, research and product and engineering teams.
- Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards and organizational expectations.
- Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives.
- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company
Here's what we're looking for:
- We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Statistics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering).
- Strong SQL or Excel skills, with an aptitude for learning other analytics tools.
- Experience in data analytics and/or programming tools, such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, BigQuery, Data Studio, Looker, PowerBI, Colab, MicroStrategy, and Jupyter Notebook.
- Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
- Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
