Responsibilities:
Maximize revenue and profitability in the assigned territory by meeting or exceeding budget targets, aligning with the European PU sales strategy
Develop and lead the sales team through recruitment, training, mentoring, and taking a leadership role in key European projects.
Manage key customer accounts, ensuring profitability and high service levels that exceed customer expectations
Gather market insights to support product development and maintain competitiveness in an evolving industry
Build strong relationships with co-suppliers and industry partners to gather intelligence on market opportunities and new technologies
Implement marketing communication programs in alignment with the European strategy
Provide regular reports on team performance, activities, and key market conditions to the European Business Director
Qualifications:
Sales management experience with strong knowledge of technical sales strategies and a proven track record of managing small sales teams
Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and build long-term customer relationships
Experience in the PU market, with hands-on knowledge of PU processes and an understanding of customer needs in this sector
Technical degree preferred, ideally in a relevant field
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of making sound, swift, and decisive decisions
Assertiveness and goal-orientation, with excellent business acumen, judgment, and a strong focus on action and results
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and high-level customer contacts
Ability to work in a multicultural, multi-lingual environment, adapting to diverse business cultures
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential
Strong organizational and planning abilities, with the capacity to delegate effectively across different levels and functional groups within the company
