About the Role

We’re looking for a Partner Services Manager to help lead and grow a high-profile partnership with a major philanthropic organization. In this role, you’ll serve as the connective tissue between partner stakeholders, internal creative teams, and publishing operations —helping shepherd a high-volume slate of written, video, social, newsletter, and live event initiatives from concept through launch.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day lead across partner stakeholders and internal teams throughout the full campaign lifecycle; first line of contact for problem solving, navigating partner questions, or surfacing information
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across editorial, production, publishing, and partner teams while proactively navigating trade-offs, competing demands, and shifting priorities
  • Surface partner feedback and proactively recommend solutions, trade-offs, and stakeholder management approaches with diplomacy and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Cultivate & build trusted partner relationships across wide array of stakeholders that drive long-term collaboration and trust
  • Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable production and publishing workflows
  • Create and manage dynamic project timelines, reprioritizing based on evolving project needs, stakeholder feedback, and fast-moving campaign priorities
  • Maintain and optimize centralized project documentation and knowledge-sharing systems, ensuring teams have clear visibility into deliverables and critical updates needed to execute effectively
  • Work within the client’s project management systems to input updates, track progress, and ensure visibility across their internal teams
  • Coordinate publishing and launch workflows across partner, editorial, production, and social teams
  • Regular internal + external reporting on progress towards workstream revenue goals [current and planned]

Who You Are:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in a project management and/or account management role
  • Strong understanding of video production, publishing, and digital content workflows
  • A self-starter who solves problems proactively; you thrive in ambiguity and naturally identify ways to bring structure to chaos
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Skilled at influencing and aligning cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of simultaneous projects, shifting priorities, and creative formats in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment
  • Able to quickly assess competing priorities and make thoughtful decisions in environments where timelines, information, and stakeholder needs evolve rapidly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

What You’ll Get:

  • Work from home flexibility: We’ve been remote first since inception.
  • Growth and mentorship: Join a supportive, collaborative team with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Competitive benefits: Enjoy comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k), and more!

Salary: $80,000 base salary, with additional quarterly performance-based compensation available.

What began in 2011 as a boutique creative agency with a simple yet powerful belief in the power of storytelling has blossomed into Freethink, a dynamic media company dedicated to showcasing a better future. Founded by Chandler Tuttle, Dan Hayes, and Kmele Foster, the journey started with a small team and a conviction that the most important stories of our time—those of innovation, progress, and human ingenuity—were not being told. They embarked on a mission to change the narrative, moving away from the negativity and toxic politics that often dominate the media landscape. Their focus was clear: to shine a light on the smartest people, the biggest ideas, and the most groundbreaking technologies that are actively shaping our world for the better. This foundational commitment to quality filmmaking and compelling narratives quickly resonated, allowing them to collaborate with remarkable organizations and bring impactful stories to life.

Over the years, Freethink has evolved from its agency roots into a full-fledged media publisher, reaching millions across the globe. Their content, which spans documentary films, articles, and various series, explores the frontiers of science and society. From pioneers developing exoskeleton suits and gene therapy to innovators building the first factories in space, Freethink consistently introduces its audience to the change-makers solving humanity's biggest challenges. The company's core teams in New York City, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles are now supported by a global network of talented journalists, filmmakers, and creators. This expansion includes the acquisition and integration of Big Think, a platform dedicated to exploring the world's biggest ideas with the world's biggest thinkers. Through it all, Freethink has remained steadfast in its original purpose: to inspire people to build a better world by telling the stories of those who are already doing it, proving that believing in the next solution is not blind optimism, but a recognition of our innate capacity to solve problems.
