Founded in 1995 during a challenging time for forestry, our organization was born from 35 practitioners who shared a common commitment: putting forest health first, even when it meant going against conventional practices. This ethos continues to define our culture today. Our team members describe working here as uniquely rewarding because they can bring their full expertise to bear on real-world challenges, whether conducting forest monitoring plots in remote ecosystems or facilitating community wildfire preparedness workshops. We operate across multiple regions - Lake States, Northeast, Pacific West, Southeast, and Southwest - with each office maintaining the collaborative spirit that makes our work effective.
