As a Forward Deployment Engineer, you'll serve as the technical bridge between customers, Customer Success, and Engineering teams, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, and ensuring our systems run reliably in mission-critical environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong programming and scripting skills in Go, Powershell, or TypeScript
Experience with flight networking systems (preferred in secure or regulated environments like aviation, law enforcement, or defense).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical problems, especially involving hardware/software integration in field environments.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination with non-technical aviation stakeholders.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across systems, integrations, and APIs.
Proficiency in querying and analyzing data (SQL).
Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Grafana, PowerBI, Tableau)
Understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g., VPNs, firewalls, routing).
Prior client-facing or consulting experience in aviation, law enforcement, defense, or critical infrastructure.
Driven by impact and mission readiness. Able to jump in when customers or field systems need critical support, even outside normal hours.
Knowledge of aviation drone standards, such as FAA Part 107.
