The Patient Scheduler is responsible for managing appointment scheduling activities for partner clinics and provider groups, including new patient consults, follow-up visits, and rescheduled appointments. This role requires speed, accuracy, strong communication, and consistent adherence to clinic workflows, escalation procedures, and privacy requirements.
Requirements
- Prior experience in patient scheduling, healthcare operations, medical front desk, or a similar high-volume coordination role
- Ability to navigate various EHR systems and handle patient information accurately
- Ability to communicate confidently and empathetically with patients over the telephone using clear communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and maintain consistent performance in a remote setting
