What to Expect in This Position
- Implement a targeted sales strategy for FiscalNote's data, content, and licensing offerings, tailored specifically for the supply chain and operational risk markets.
- Cultivate and expand existing relationships within the supply chain/risk management industry, focusing on building a robust pipeline and deep understanding of the sector's unique business needs.
- Meet and exceed quarterly quotas for new business while nurturing ongoing opportunities.
- Conduct persuasive pitches and product demonstrations to senior-level executives, tailoring the business use case based on real-time feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Data Science and content teams to assist in closing deals and leverage marketing material to create unique packages geared toward attracting prospects.
- Actively participate in industry events to network and stay up-to-date with market trends.
- Keep abreast of the operational risk landscape by maintaining and leveraging external contacts. Utilize these relationships to gain early insights into evolving trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities within the sector.
- Implement and refine technology tools designed to monitor and enhance the visibility of FiscalNote's partnership efforts, ensuring these tools are well-suited to the specific requirements and workflows of the financial services market.
What Sets You Apart
- Proven track record of at least 7+ years in B2B licensing or information services sales, specifically targeting the supply chain/risk management services industry.
- Demonstrated success in consultative solutions selling to Fortune 1000 companies.
- Experience leading impactful demos and delivering compelling pitches to C-level executives.
- Consistently achieved or surpassed an annual quota of $1 million or more, consistently ranking in the top 20%.
- Expertise in closing complex sales cycles within competitive markets.
- Familiarity with Salesforce is required.
- Understand how to structure a path to plan to ensure quota achievement.
- Experience with territory management and partnering with Sales Development Representatives to align outreach.
