First Advantage is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to join their dynamic, cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering and proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or similar languages. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure software quality.

Requirements

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure software quality.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression testing to identify bugs or defects.
  • Perform automated software load testing to identify performance issues.
  • Perform software security testing to identify security flaws in the system.
  • Document and track defects and their resolutions.
  • Use test automation tools and frameworks to increase the efficiency of the testing process.
  • Improve QA processes, explore, and utilize best QA tools.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of software releases, ensuring all components meet quality standards.
  • Report quality metrics and test results to management and stakeholders.
  • Engage as a technical expert in an agile team environment.
  • Provide feedback to the development team on potential improvements in software design to ensure better testability.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the product and development team.
