We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Manager to join our finance team in the Netherlands. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance and is responsible for day-to-day accounting and tax operations, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
The role includes ownership of management reporting, cash flow monitoring, coordination with tax advisors, and active involvement in audit and compliance processes. It requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across international teams.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead and manage daily accounting and tax compliance operations for our Dutch entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all deliverables.
  • Own the preparation of monthly consolidated management reports, delivering clear financial insights that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive the preparation and review of statutory financial statements in alignment with Dutch GAAP, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key liaison during financial audits and tax filings, coordinating effectively with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Oversee cash flow monitoring, support payment processing, and ensure robust internal controls are in place and continuously optimized.
  • Support the preparation and documentation of transfer pricing files and contribute to broader tax compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the broader finance team on group consolidation and financial planning activities, contributing to the company’s strategic financial goals.
  • Continuously assess and improve accounting, tax, and reporting processes, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities.

Who You Are

  • You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in accounting and tax roles, ideally with a focus on Dutch entities and regulatory frameworks.
  • You have a deep understanding of Dutch GAAP and local tax laws, with proven experience preparing statutory reports, managing audits, and overseeing tax filings.
  • You possess excellent organizational and communication skills, able to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • You are fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a strong plus.
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in collaborative environments, bringing both initiative and precision to everything you do.

  • Experience working in a multinational or high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and tools for consolidation and reporting.
  • A track record of driving process improvements or automation initiatives within finance functions.
