Teaming up with Chris Szymansky, our CTO and co-founder whom he met at legal AI startup Atrium, they set out to reimagine workflows for auditors. We saw a clear opportunity to leverage AI to address the growing imbalance between the high demand for accounting services and the shrinking supply of accounting graduates and CPAs. Our purpose at Fieldguide is to improve the lives of these dedicated professionals – the very people who facilitate trust in commerce and capital markets.

With just a few clicks, our customers can send client requests, generate reports, summarize documents, and associate client materials with relevant accounting controls. By automating the mundane aspects of the audit process, we empower CPA firms to take on more business without a corresponding increase in headcount, driving margin growth and freeing up professionals to focus on higher-value strategic work.
