The story of Feld Entertainment is a captivating journey that began not on a grand stage, but within the walls of a humble Washington, D.C. drugstore in 1938. It was here that founder Irvin Feld, a savvy entrepreneur, noticed the remarkable popularity of records among his customers. This observation sparked a new venture, leading him to open a chain of record stores and eventually become a record producer. However, Irvin's true genius lay in his visionary approach to live entertainment. He pioneered the concept of hosting large-scale concerts in arenas, bringing iconic performers like Frank Sinatra and The Beatles to massive audiences. This innovative spirit would become the cornerstone of the Feld legacy. In 1956, Irvin's path intersected with the struggling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® circus. He joined as a manager and booking agent, and by 1967, recognizing its immense potential, he purchased the circus outright. His transformative decision to move the performances from traditional outdoor tents to modern indoor arenas revitalized the brand, setting it on a course for unprecedented success and laying the groundwork for what would become a global entertainment powerhouse.

Under the leadership of Irvin's son, Kenneth Feld, who took the helm in 1984, the company embarked on an era of remarkable expansion and diversification. A pivotal moment came with the creation of Walt Disney's World on Ice in 1981, a groundbreaking partnership that brought beloved Disney characters to life on ice for audiences worldwide and solidified a lasting relationship with The Walt Disney Company. This venture, later renamed Disney On Ice, became a global phenomenon. The company's portfolio continued to grow with the acquisition of powerhouse brands like Monster Jam® and Monster Energy AMA Supercross in 2008, solidifying its position as a leader in motorsports entertainment. In 2013, Feld Entertainment consolidated its operations at a state-of-the-art global headquarters in Ellenton, Florida, a sprawling facility that houses production studios and the world's largest monster truck shop. Now in its third generation of family leadership with Juliette Feld Grossman as CEO, the company continues to innovate, launching new experiences like Marvel Universe LIVE! and Jurassic World Live Tour, and even reimagining the iconic Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey for a new era.
