Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong focus on client relationship management, account growth, and solution delivery. This role acts as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for strategic clients, combining commercial awareness with technical integration expertise. The successful candidate will build long-term partnerships, ensure seamless technical onboarding, and identify opportunities to expand and strengthen key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage a portfolio of key and strategic client accounts, serving as the primary relationship holder.
Build strong, long-term partnerships by understanding each clients business goals, workflows, and technical environment.
Lead client-facing technical discussions, translating business needs into effective integration solutions (XML, SFTP, APIs).
Oversee onboarding and implementation of integrations, ensuring a smooth client experience from start to go-live.
Proactively identify upsell, cross-sell, and account growth opportunities within existing clients.
Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams (Engineering, Product, Support) to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
Manage expectations, timelines, and communication throughout integration and ongoing account management.
Monitor account performance, provide insights and reporting, and recommend improvements to enhance client value.
Resolve escalated issues with a customer-first mindset, ensuring retention and satisfaction.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, or Sales Manager role.
Strong background in managing enterprise or high-value client relationships.
Solid understanding of technical integrations (XML, SFTP, APIs) within a client-facing environment.
Ability to confidently communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Commercial mindset with experience driving account growth and retention.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving ability in fast-paced, client-driven environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in technical implementations, onboarding, or project management.
Certifications related to APIs, system integrations, or project management are advantageous.
