About the role:
The Instructional Designer will be a member of the Clinical Programs, Clinical Training Team. They will join a team of instructional designers under the supervision of the Training Operations Manager. As an instructional designer, your role will focus on creating training materials for Equip’s clinical providers, HQ teams, and the patients we serve. Training materials developed by the Instructional Design team range from handouts to multi-module eLearning courses and focus on both clinical protocols as well as corporate policies. As a member of the Training Team, you will play a key role in creating meaningful learning experiences that have an impact on the company, our providers, and the patients we serve. The best candidate for this role is someone who enjoys partnering with team members and stakeholders to devise effective training solutions and values creativity and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with care delivery and clinical training to identify training gaps to inform project development
- Meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts throughout the instructional design process
- Collaborate with members of the training operations team to design and develop engaging eLearning content
- Transform existing training content into eLearning courses and/or videos.
- Team with Research and Data & Insight teams to inform assessment and evaluation creation
- Design assessments and surveys to evaluate courses and learner application.
- Create a wide range of training materials, including job aides, slide presentations, interactive scenarios, simulations, and more.
- Attend regular meetings with the clinical training team
- Participate in professional development days with the training operations team
- Complete additional administrative tasks as needed
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Training Operations Manager
Job Requirements
- Prior experience with Articulate 360, Camtasia, Snagit, Vyond, and/or other eLearning authoring/media creation tools
- Graphic design experience
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Familiarity with GSuite
- Strong skills in organizational communication
- Self-starter with strong time managment and project management skills
- Excels in both independent work and collaboration
- Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Bonus if you have the following:
- BA/BS in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Education, or similar
- Video editing/motion graphics experience
- Experience with Litmos
- Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment
- Passion for expanding access to mental health treatment treatment
