Role overview:
The role purpose is to provide HR administration support with processes and procedures to underpin an effective site HR function. In addition, the role will include supporting managers with employee issues and undertaking activities and projects as determined by the UK & EMEA HR Business Partners.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update various HR databases and 3rd party vendors such as company cars, pension providers, occupational health, lunch vouchers, visa application platform and others together with trackers and shared sites.
- Support ePS resourcing activities, including supporting with onboarding, offboarding and employee letters for contractual changes
- Provide basic information, guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR policies and processes
- Provide the first level of support for HR queries including payroll, holidays etc.
- Get involved in employee communications, training and initiatives
- Develop skills in Employee Relations and Payroll by learning the processes, creating process flows and supporting the HRBP’s where required.
- Generate HR reports and analysis on a timely and accurate basis e.g. absence levels, headcount reports, holidays, etc
- Develop HR systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the HR department
- Undertake HR projects and other activities to support ePS and the HR team
- Work with external suppliers to provide the best benefits for our employees.
Skills & experience:
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures obtained through experience or HR qualification
- Evidence of being able to develop effective working relationships at all levels
- Data literate and able to produce and analyse data accurately
- Evidence of strong planning and organising abilities and an ability to work independently
- An ability to demonstrate the Company Values of Integrity, Quality, Commitment and Collaboration
- Excellent communication skills
