We are looking to fill a Strategic Planning Project Manager II position as part of our Business Strategy Department. As a member of the Energy Solutions team, you will have a broad impact on guiding the company’s corporate and business strategies by working with executive management, department leaders and staff and market stakeholders to manage a variety of Strategic Planning deliverables. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overall direction, management, quality control and completion of strategic planning deliverables including tracking of initiatives on company’s project management software
- Developing and managing complex strategic planning projects and tasks
- Managing the design and implementation of strategic planning administration and facilitation activities
- Communicating overall strategic planning progress to executive and departmental management
- Interacting with customers, clients, and external collaborators
- Conducting market research and data analysis
- Tracking of industry trends and other market changes that impact the company’s overall business
Minimum qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree with an energy focus, preference being towards business, finance or marketing
- A minimum of five years of work experience in an similar role
- Familiarity with strategic planning tools such as a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis and/or Strategic Planning processes within an organization
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with senior management
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office
- Exceptional collaboration and facilitation skills
- Excellent personal accountability and quality control practices
- Willingness to conduct business travel
Salary DOE: $75,000 - $90,000 / Annually
Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
