About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Clinical AI Evaluation Strategist (MD) to join our dynamic team. As a recognized authority in the field, you will set strategy and drive the vision for Generative AI Evaluation of Clinical Solutions and Global Medical Education Products. As a thought leader you will develop Evaluation strategies, influence future dynamics in the field, and serve as a key supporter for implementing Generative AI Evaluation Frameworks for Clinical use cases. The role requires deep clinical expertise and mastery in content enrichment to ensure AI solutions meet the highest standards of medical accuracy and educational value.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and driving strategy for evaluating generative AI in clinical and medical education contexts, developing clear frameworks for assessing medical knowledge representation

  • Co-developing evaluation roadmaps with product teams and medical professionals to ensure AI solutions meet clinical accuracy standards and educational objectives

  • Leading knowledge organization governance for clinical content evaluation, influencing standards and processes for AI-driven medical information systems

  • Championing and manage complex projects evaluating AI models' performance in clinical use cases

  • Driving innovation in medical knowledge representation strategies for new areas of AI coverage

  • Developing and implement content enrichment strategies that ensure clinical accuracy and relevance in AI outputs

  • Fostering cross-functional collaboration between clinical experts, AI teams, and product developers

  • Guiding the evolution of evaluation standards for AI-generated clinical content and medical education materials

  • Leading and mentor team members in developing expertise in clinical AI evaluation

  • Creating advanced insights and recommendations for improving AI performance in healthcare applications

Requirements

  • MD required, with 10+ years of clinical experience and expertise in medical informatics

  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating AI systems for clinical applications

  • Proven experience leading large expert teams using project management and agile methodologies

  • Expert-level understanding of clinical knowledge systems and medical content validation

  • Track record of developing evaluation frameworks for AI in healthcare

  • Extensive understanding of medical terminology, clinical workflows, and healthcare education needs

  • Experience with clinical decision support systems and medical knowledge bases

  • Demonstrated ability to predict and influence trends in healthcare AI

  • Excellence in communicating complex medical and technical concepts to varied stakeholders

  • Extensive background in medical education and clinical content development

  • Experience mentoring teams in clinical AI evaluation methodologies

  • Innovative mindset with focus on improving healthcare outcomes through AI

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $107,646 - $171,954.This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
