AWS Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with the Cloud Architecture team to implement scalable, secure, and automated solutions aligned with established designs. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure as code, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting CI/CD workflows. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AWS services, automation tools, and cloud security, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Perform technical duties as it relates to cloud computing including planning, design, and maintenance

How you will make an impact:

• Evaluate new technologies and build effective solutions for robust solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of New Product Development (NPD) and other business requirements
  • Develop and lead the implementation of portions of new cloud solutions in partnership with team members (e.g., Cloud Architects)
  • Recommend Best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
  • Identify IT Business processes impacting NPD and make recommendations for resolution

• Other duties as assigned by Management

What you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or technical field, 4 years of experience in Cloud Computing or Software Engineering

What else we look for:

• Experience writing scripts in Javascript, Python, BASH etc

• Full knowledge of DevOps principles and experience applying them to develop internal tools and processes
  • Experience with best of Breed Solutions, Cloud Infrastructure and Software solutions
  • General experience with one of the following: AWS S3, Redshift, Azure DW, Azure Blob Storage
  • Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with AWS preferred, Microsoft Azure or Google Compute Platform
  • Familiarity with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Full knowledge of Azure IaaS components like VMs, Virtual networks, Storage and PaaS components like App Service, Serverless computing, Storage
  • Full knowledge of AWS VPCs, Subnets, EC2s, routing
  • Full knowledge of IaC toolsets such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Powershell etc.
