United Arab Emirates onlyAs a Structural Designee, you will be responsible for producing structural design drawings and 3D models for offshore projects under the guidance of senior designers and engineers. Ensures deliverables are accurate, timely, and consistent with project standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare structural arrangement, detail, and fabrication drawings using CAD/3D tools
- Build and maintain 3D models in PDMS, SP3D, or equivalent software
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with multi-discipline design teams
- Incorporate design changes and markups from engineers and clients
- Maintain drawing logs and support document control processes
- Carry out quantity take-offs and material lists as required
- Participate in model reviews and design coordination meetings
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in structural design/drafting for offshore oil & gas
- Proficiency in PDMS, SP3D, AutoCAD, and/or TEKLA
- Understanding of offshore structural components and layout conventions
- Good coordination skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
