United Arab Emirates onlyAs a Senior I&C Designer, you will lead the production and coordination of I&C design drawings and models for offshore oil & gas projects. Manages a team of designers and ensures deliverables are accurate and compliant with project and engineering standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead production of I&C design drawings including loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, junction box layouts, and cable schedules
- Develop and manage instrument layout drawings and installation details
- Coordinate with I&C engineers and multi-discipline design teams to resolve interface issues
- Review and check drawings prepared by junior designers
- Maintain instrument drawing registers and ensure document control compliance
- Support the development of 3D instrument models within PDMS or SP3D
- Mentor and supervise junior I&C designers
- Participate in model reviews and design coordination meetings
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or Drafting
- 13+ years of experience in I&C design/drafting for offshore oil & gas projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D, and/or Smart Plant Instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of instrument installation standards and loop drawing conventions
- Familiarity with offshore project design requirements and documentation standards
- Good leadership, coordination, and mentoring skills
