This road will report directly to the Chief Business Officer.

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and analytical Sales Development Manager to spearhead the creation and expansion of our outbound sales development function.

This role involves crafting a scalable system and team to identify, target, and engage potential customers, transitioning our company from inbound success to a balanced, proactive outreach model.

Initially an individual contributor, you will quickly transition to leading a dynamic team, underscoring our commitment to rapid growth and market penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for outbound sales, focusing on customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Identify and target potential customers in North America, understanding their needs and how our offerings can deliver value.
  • Build, train, and lead a high-performing outbound sales team, setting ambitious goals and providing mentorship.
  • Collaborate with marketing to leverage content, paid advertising, and events to support outbound efforts.
  • Manage the sales funnel and drive the team towards generating discovery and strategy calls with our technical team.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to continuously refine strategies and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales development and team management, preferably within the technology or software sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to start as an individual contributor and quickly scale to managing a team.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
  • Driven by targets and performance metrics, with a clear focus on results.
