We invite a highly experienced Software Engineer skilled in Android development to join our Payment Terminals team and help us build new applications specifically designed for Point of Sale (POS) systems, with a focus (but not limited) on Ingenico products. Our client is an independent consulting company specializing in digital payment and digital health that provides end-to-end consulting services and innovative solutions to clients worldwide.

- 4+ years of professional experience in native Android development
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Hands-on experience with Android libraries/frameworks, including Koin, Kotlin coroutines, RxJava2, Retrofit/OkHttp, WebSocket, Gson, Room/SQLite
- Strong understanding of MVVM/MVP architectural patterns
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Demonstrated experience working on projects from inception to completion
- Proactivity, high autonomy, and a results-oriented mindset
Desirable:
- Experience in the POS industry or other secure environments
- Experience with POS hardware devices that run on Android OS
- Experience in embedded development for native clients using C/C++, preferably with experience on Ingenico devices
- Familiarity with Robolectric and Mockito
🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you will be a crucial member of our Payment Terminals team, responsible for driving the development of Android payment terminal apps to meet specific client needs.
- Lead the development of new POS solutions from project inception to architectural design
- Contribute to the development of new features to enhance the POS experience for handheld devices in portrait mode
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
- Help the team introduce improvements
- Collaborate closely with the backend team to ensure efficient system integrations
