About this opportunity

We invite a talented Software Engineer to join our remote, globally distributed team at the forefront of AI and product innovation. In this role, you’ll build intelligent, data-driven applications using AI and ML technologies to solve complex, real-world problems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop full-stack solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept that have a tangible impact on the business and end users.

Is that you?

• 1-4 years of full-stack engineering experience, including recent graduates with strong projects
• Proficiency in Python for backend development, data pipelines, and AI/ML integrations
• Frontend development experience in React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
• Backend development skills in Node.js, Django, or Flask
• Strong skills in API design and integration
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Demonstrated interest in AI/ML, generative AI, and R&D experimentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in English and Italian at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with proofs of concept (PoCs) and technical prototype development
• Familiarity with healthcare, surgical, or agribusiness applications of AI/ML

Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll work hands-on across the full stack, collaborating with AI engineers and researchers to build applications, prototypes, and proofs of concept that drive real impact.

• Build and maintain full-stack applications with Python and JavaScript/React.js or similar
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Work with researchers and AI engineers on generative AI, agentic AI, and computer vision projects
• Contribute to building proofs of concept (PoCs) for healthcare and agribusiness use cases
• Create technical prototypes for client demos to support go-to-market initiatives
• Work with leadership to quickly iterate on features and drive value in 30/60/90-day cycles
• Write clean, documented code and contribute to public-facing documentation/GitHub repos
