Solution Engineer - REF4542Z

Automation of test scenarios in the area of the Intraselect product family (SD-WAN, uCPE, Foundation, etc.) within the stable acceptance environment at the TCT in Nürnberg, using the ROBOT test framework.
The focus of the automated tests is on network-related functions.

Experience in either networking or development is sufficient — we appreciate a willingness to learn the other field!

Network knowledge

Expectations:

Knowledge in the network environment:

• Layer 1, 2, and 3, access types (DSL, mobile), IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, Quality of Service, Class of Service, redundancy concepts (HSRP, VRRP), STP
• Configuration experience with Cisco and Juniper devices
• CCNA or CCNP Core Services / Enterprise

An advantage:

• Experience with service-based Intraselect products such as SD-WAN
• NSO
• Configuration and functionality of uCPE
• Cloud and Virtualization
• Security (IPSec, SASE)

Testing and test automation

Expectations:

• Use of GitLab CI/CD (repositories, artifactories, runners) within the Intraselect environment (underlay + overlay)
• Software development skills (Python, REST API, GIT, etc.)
• Knowledge of data formats (YAML, XML, JSON, etc.)
• Creating test plans
• AI affinity

An advantage:

• Configuration and use of traffic generators / protocol analyzers (especially IXIA (Keysight))
• Experience with agent-based test solutions (e.g., cyPerf)
• Cisco Certified DevNet Associate
• Ability to create, implement, and automate test concepts for Intraselect products and core components (Robot Test Automation Framework)
• Experience using Robot as a test framework (creating test scripts)
