For their internal needs and as part of company's continued expansion we are looking to hire a Portfolio Expert to monitor forecasts and data, execute day‑ahead/ intraday orders and schedules, optimize trading positions vs. balancing risks, and prepare settlement/regulatory reports while supporting renewables integration.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role:

• Help add renewable plants into the company's trading software.
• Submit orders to electricity markets for next‑day and same‑day delivery.
• Monitor weather near the power plants and update production forecasts.
• Send schedules for production and deliveries to the grid operators.
• Prepare monthly settlement and occasional reports about imbalances and costs.
• Compare forecasts with actual generation and analyze discrepancies.
• Review operations and maintenance reports about outages or drops in production.
• Monitor market exposure and request additional collateral when needed.
• Track regulatory changes and submit required reports to authorities.
• Support commercial tasks and licensing activities.

Desired skills and experience:

• College or university degree in Engineering, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in the energy sector, ideally with energy trading.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Detail‑orientation with high accuracy, discipline and consistency.
• Proficiency in English, Excel, Word, etc.
• Programming skills and/ or experience with Python are a big advantage.
