Job Description

Derivco Orlando is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Manager to be part of our dynamic team.

Are you an experienced Software Engineering Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? Derivco, a leading software development company, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team in Orlando. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely for part of the week, with 3 days in-office to collaborate with our innovative team. This is a people management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and timelines
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
