Our platform UI serves as a critical component of decentriq's user experience. Contribute to growing our existing platform using React.js, GraphQL, Apollo/react-query, Postgres, async-graphql (Rust). We are looking for a senior software engineer (>=80%, starting as soon as possible) to join our mission. The work location can be fully remote (+/- 4h CET) or in the Zurich/Berlin office.

Our secure data collaboration platform, based on a new privacy-enhancing technology called Confidential Computing, solves this by letting companies and organizations share without sharing — combining sensitive data and discovering new insights without ever exposing the raw data to the other party. Or to us. Or to the cloud provider. Who uses our product? Decentriq powers data collaboration in the world’s most privacy-conscious industries, including media (Goldbach), healthcare (Roche), banking and the public sector (Swiss Army). Our headquarters is in Zurich, but you can find us in Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and remote across Europe.

Tasks

• Design, Develop, and Test: Craft full-featured client-side applications using React and Joy UI. Your role will focus on building responsive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience. On the backend, you will work with a mixture of GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with design, product management, and other engineering teams. This collaboration is key to integrating different perspectives and achieving the best results for our projects.

Requirements

• Master/Bachelor Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of professional experience
• Good communications skills with fluency in English
• Extensive experience in Typescript, React, CSS3, and HTML5
• Passion for usability and user experience
• Plus: GraphQL experience
• Plus: Technical leadership experience
• Plus plus: Willingness to pick up so Rust programming for simple backend changes :)
