Dawood Trading & Contracting Est. was established in 1975 by the late Mohammed bin Salem Al Fataisi. Its construction division successfully completed many private and public projects of different types and sizes. In the year 2000, a new separate company under the name of Dawood Contracting Co. L.L.C. (DCC) was formed to focus only on the construction activities and to continue the legacy of the previous construction division. DCC is now considered one of the leading construction companies in the Sultanate of Oman. The company has always aimed at delivering the best quality through proper project management and hard work. Because of that, it has achieved its goal to become one of the leading companies in its field in Oman.

The company is continuing its gradual and cautious growth policy in order to reach even higher milestones by employing talented staff and by associating itself with renowned stakeholders. The company was established with a clear vision to progress gradually in order to achieve an excellent reputation in the industry for delivering sustainable and cost-effective solutions to its customers through proper project management, continuous innovation, and hard work. DCC is registered with the Tender Board as an Excellent grade Construction Company and is also registered with PDO, ORPIC, LNG, OMRAN, and most government institutions. At DCC, every building project is important and receives the utmost care and attention, a philosophy adhered to at all levels of the company. The foundation of their success lies in a commitment to understanding and meeting clients' requirements for safety, honesty, quality, on-time delivery, and value-for-money. Since 1975, DCC has successfully completed many private and public projects for clients such as the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Manpower, Petroleum Development Oman, and Royal Oman Police. By receiving the ISO 9001:2015 certification, DCC has attained another milestone in its quality management system, with a goal to continually improve and impact quality in every step and process of their business.
