A Chief of Staff will give our CPO leverage, own whole projects and get them off her plate. With an effective Chief of Staff in place, our CPO would rarely say “I’m not able to focus on what I do best” or “that important priority fell through the cracks”.

You will be a key facilitator of the product organization’s leadership team; your effort is core to efficiently operate and scale our identified product team.

Your work will include contributions to strategic planning, project management, performance analysis, team analytics, executive meetings, and communications. This role will report to the Chief Product Officer,

Working closely with ID Product leadership and cross-functionally with other teammates, you will:

  • Lead and support high-priority special projects from scoping, planning, preparation, stakeholder management and resourcing all the way through project execution. Examples potential projects include:
    • Building slide decks for regulators and policy makers in healthcare
    • Driving consistency in product voice and metrics across BU vertical reviews
    • Prepping communication for major internal and external moments of visibility
    • Going deep into data (financial, product, etc) to help think through a critical path forward.
    • Driving clarity and consistency around financial and product metrics & communication to the wider product team.
    • Collaborating with key stakeholders on CPO presence at the Future of Health Data Summit and other major internal and external events.
    • Collaborating with other stakeholders on product operating model including but not limited to
      • Ensuring annual planning (budget / strat plan) is well coordinated and presented.
      • Coordinating the monthly CPO/CTO reviews
      • Ensuring adequate preparation and execution for High Prio reviews with the CEO.
  • Serve as critical connective tissue:
    • This role will include setting rhythms and cadences through the facilitation of Product Leadership Team Staff meetings, gathering of feedback from 1:1s throughout the ID Product team, and synthesizing that into effective all-hands broadcasts and agendas for off-site summits etc.
    • You will own key rituals for the ID Product team as needed including strategic account reviews, all hands, offsite planning, product leadership meetings etc.
    • You will collaborate with the Chief of Staff to the CTO and other key cross-functional team members to ensure coordination across operational initiatives.
  • You own the unit economics of a high functioning product team
    • You ensure that we are operating within our budget.
    • You collaborate with the People Team, Talent Acquisition and other team members to ensure we are maximizing the value of our investments in additional head count, consultants, tooling, travel & entertainment etc.
  • You ensure the CPOs directs have what they need
    • You own any issues around onboarding, scaling & managing their teams etc.
    • You are a partner to the Product Leadership team in all things, big and small.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $105,000 - $170,000.
