Position Summary

Negotiates, reviews, executes and analyze provider contracts. Handles dispute resolution and settlement negotiations for various provider types in accordance with company standards. Leads assigned contract projects of a complex nature; ensures completion of projects and goals within identified service levels and timeframes. Implements process improvement solutions that enhance accountability and promote effective risk management.

What you will do

  • Establishes and implements programs and innovative initiatives for the organization to advance Contract Negotiations initiatives.
  • Recruits’ providers in support of network expansion and adequacy targets.
  • Determines recommendations to manage cost issues and support cost-saving initiatives and settlement activities.
  • Assists in the management of network development, maintenance, and refinement activities and strategies in support of cross-market network management units.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidates residing in TN, Central or Eastern Region
  • Minimum 3+ years of strong healthcare facility/provider contract negotiation

· Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in healthcare industry, preferable health insurance.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $119,300.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
