Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

Curbase is seeking a Senior FPA Analyst to join the Finance team of this quickly scaling healthcare technology company. This will be the first FPA hire, so this role will have a direct impact on the future growth of Curebase. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for generating research and investigation across the business which aids decision-making in a complex and high-growth environment. The right candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced distributed environment and is secure in their ability to help executives make more informed decisions.

What you'll do

• Report directly to the VP of Finance with the opportunity to grow into the FPA manager and build out a team in the future
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders on company-wide strategic planning processes
• Understand key metrics/benchmarks and adapt these to the Curebase business model
• Responsible for all reporting internally and externally through live, dynamic dashboards and reports
• Work with business intelligence and planning tools to enable efficient financial modeling and drive data-informed decision-making. Aid implementation, operationalizing and ongoing development of planning tools/processes
• Evaluate financial and operational results to better understand company performance and identify opportunities
• Build relationships across the organization and become a trusted partner to our functional leaders
• Communicate complex problems and analysis to non-technical teams
• Benchmark our financials, set realistic targets based on a strong understanding of our business, and drive the company toward improved financial performance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of experience in FPA, Strategic/Business finance, or management consulting, ideally with knowledge of a high-growth environment
• Exceptional financial modeling skills utilizing best practices around data management and dimensions
• A deep understanding of top line planning under various scenarios as well as gross margin analysis and resource planning
• An expert in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, staying current on new functions and ensuring adoption
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
• Exceptional judgment including an ability to execute independently and cross-team collaborate with members of all levels, time zones, and functions
• Experience in designing business systems around operational and financial planning
• A natural desire to level-up and improve upon processes and systems
• A positive and dependable attitude

Compensation

The base compensation for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 USD annually.
