Malaysia onlyOur client is looking for a passionate and strategic Social Media Manager to lead content creation and digital engagement across platforms. This is a fully remote position with exciting opportunities to shape thought leadership campaigns through short-form video content and brand-aligned storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write compelling and brand-aligned scripts for video reels, interviews, and storytelling content
- Plan, manage, and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
- Collaborate with the video team to align messaging, visuals, and execution
- Monitor performance analytics and engagement data to optimise social media strategy
- Develop content ideas and campaigns that support clients' personal branding and business goals
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients for content approvals and timely publishing
- Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm changes, and viral content strategies
- Actively manage and respond to DMs and comments to build genuine community engagement
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in social media or digital content management
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, especially for short-form video
- Familiar with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Later, Meta Business Suite, Metricool)
- Bonus: Experience with video editing tools like CapCut or Final Cut Pro
- Passionate about personal branding, entrepreneurship, and digital storytelling
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects independently
- A portfolio of past work or examples of social media accounts managed is preferred
