Shipping Manager

Our client is an international trading organisation with a presence world wide, along with sourcing and marketing competencies They focus on supplying of Crude Palm Oil (CPO), Coal, Medical Equipments, as well as manufacturing of Mentha Oils and various Essential Oils. They are looking out for a Shipping Manager to join their team to support in their operational needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Hiring of vessel (chartering), Negotiating on freight charges of vessel.

· Fixing of laytime and ETA of vessel

• Calculating laytime, voyage calculation, bunkering calculation.

· Filling Bill of entry

• Coordination with Custom house agent for custom clearance of Shipments.
• Arranging Pre/Post shipping documents of Export & Import Shipment,
• Making of various documents for shipment.
• Working on cost involved in hiring the vessel
• Coordinating with an independent surveyor.

· Budget setting for operation expense

· Tracking the shipment

• Worked in show tank hiring to transfer cargo from vessel to show tank

· Having knowledge of cargo stowage

• Relationship building with vessel owner, surveyors, testing agency

· Team worker

• Responsible to file shipping bill and IGM with authority

Requirements:

· 5+ Years of experience in Shipping.

• Has experience in Edible Oil (Crude Palm Oil & its derivatives), Trading industry
• Fluency in English (mandatory)/ Hindi (optional)
