CrazyGames.com, one of the world’s largest browser games platforms, is looking for a remote Publishing Manager. Your responsibility will be to build out and publish our own catalog of proprietary games. You will work as an “in-house entrepreneur” to grow this new initiative, basically creating an internal game studio from scratch. CrazyGames is already used by more than 2 millions users per day, and we’re now ready to bring it to the next level and compete with the major gaming platforms in the world.
On a typical day you might:
Find improvements to our existing game catalog, implement and evaluate them
Source new games to add to our catalog
Propose proven game concepts to develop and write out GDDs
Contact and manage studios to partner with on the game development side
Update or port games and integrate various SDKs into games with external support
Work with external publishers and actively manage different external platforms
Launch new games and dive deep into the metrics
Evaluate monetization and UA opportunities
What we offer:
The opportunity to join a rapidly growing scale-up that is redefining the world of web gaming.
A lot of responsibility and freedom. We hire only experts and trust them to deliver excellent results.
Work with an amazing team of almost 30 people from all over the world with a wide range of skills and backgrounds.
Flexible working hours and location. The results are what counts!
1 or 2 team weeks per year. We pay for flights and accommodation so you can have fun with the team.
The opportunity to play games and claim it's work.
Requirements
Reach out if:
You are intelligent, efficient, and above all entrepreneurial. You don’t mind rolling up your sleeves and getting things done without close supervision.
You have a (web) gaming background, with a solid understanding of a wide range of less technical topics (having a holistic view of all the steps from ideation, development, launch, to tracking metrics of a game and so on), while able to manage and work closely with external partners for the more technical implementation.
You have at least 3 years of game publishing, product management, or closely related business experience.
You like open, efficient, and to-the-point communication and you have experience in working remotely.
You have a good gut feeling for what makes people play (casual) games and you’re able to use data to support/challenge it.
You have a network of potential game development partners to rely on (or are not shy to build one from scratch).
